Halo 3 - Now With Scratched Discs

Well not much to say except that essentially single player feels a lot like the other Halo games. Co-op is certainly more fun with three people. The game play seems very predictable “I think a giant ship will come down here and start shooting us”. The graphics do look a lot better but still not amazing. The landscapes are pretty damn good though, specially at long distances. BTW the rumors are true about the limited edition and the disks being scratched. Several of the people waiting in line had to swap them for regular ones. That included my friend and I, although my other friend’s was flawless until I put it in the case. Somehow it got loose and scratched his disk. The entire case is metal including the CD spindle which doesn’t hold the disk in place very well. I recommend sandwiching the two disks between the “photo album” that is in the case. That will prevent them from getting scratched provided that you don’t play catch with the case. If only I had a decent camera I could take pictures of the damaged disks :S

At least you admit to destroying my previously perfect Halo 3 :(

A mention should be made of the asset manager at Wal-Mart who allowed us to swap out our discs with fresh ones. Saved us from filling out those forms.

    Mini-Review: I lub it!
